iFighter 2 is a great top down shooting game for free. This game is usually 99cents and is a universal app. This game has been around for quite some time it just barely caught my eye as I thought it was definitely worth a download for free. After a few hours of playing this game I can say it was totally worth my time to play this game. Some pretty cool aspects of this game is you get power ups such as different ammo and side gunman planes to assist you in destroying the enemy planes, battleships and tanks. Below the developer lists even more details of this great game.
- 9 World War II fighters with 8 different characteristics of sidekicks. Different combinations will give the player different attacking tactics!
- 3 difficulties, each with 7 challenging missions
- HD graphics with gorgeous visual effects, bringing the most realistic gaming experience to the players.
- Armory Store to buy superior fighters (some with auxiliary weapons), powerful sidekicks (with tracking missiles etc…), super bullets, invincible shell, and auto-refill and so on.
As you progress through the levels even on easy difficulty it is not a walk in the park to complete a level. I found myself needing to use at least one continue per level to advance to the next. In the game you do earn money that can be used to upgrade to a better fighter plane or for a continue opportunity from your current location in the mission. You will find certain weapons that are more effective on your missions. Make sure to grab the gas cans as they are your “life” in the game so the more you grab the better.
