Gears & Guts, Time To Run Over Some Zombies [iOS, Android Quick Look]
Gears & Guts is available for both iOS, and Android. The game is free to download, and yes it is another zombie game. The good news is that the game is pretty entertaining, and fun. You get to drive a vehicle, run over and shoot zombies. During each level, you will have a specific mission. Missions include picking up packages and taking them somewhere else. In other missions you have to kill a certain number of zombies. During the levels you will be traveling to different places. There will be a red arrow in the top of the screen showing you in what direction to go.
Missions are usually no longer than a couple minutes long. The controls in the game could be better. There are some arrows in the bottom of the screen that will help you move your car. The game does lag sometimes, hopefully an update will fix those problems soon. There is a good variety of zombies that you will find. Some are walkers, others crawl, other shoot you, and others are faster. Glu did a good job with coming up with a variety of zombies.
There are 2 money currencies in the game. Bolts and tokens are both necessary in order to get upgrades. Tokens are definitely a little harder to get, and of course the farther you get into the game, chances are that you will probably need to do some in app purchases. In the store you can upgrade your vehicle, and get better riffles. Overall the game is worth the download, it will give you some entertainment for free. Just keep in mind that you will eventually get to a point to where you will have to spend some real money in order to keep advancing in the game.
