Agent Dash, Just Another Endless Runner Game [iOS, Android Quick Look]
When I saw the trailer of Agent Dash, I totally thought the game was going to be a hit. I guess you can never tell if a game will be good or not just by looking at a trailer. Agent Dash was more of a disappointment to me. Yes, the game has very nice graphics, but the game doesn’t really offer much more than that. We all know there are tons of endless games out there, competition is hard, and in order to succeed you will need to come up with something new to that genre.
Unfortunately, I felt Agent Dash was more frustrating. Let me warn you, the game is definitely harder than other endless runners. I found myself dying in places that I shouldn’t have, just cause sometimes there will be holes or objects placed in places that are very hard to see. I also wish the backgrounds would change every time you start a new game, you always start in the junge level, so it just felt very repetitive to me.
The graphics are sure nice, in some parts it almost looks like 3D. Controls are pretty much like in any endless runner game. All you do is swipe in the direction you want to move. Of course, we can’t forget about the store. You can get different characters in the store, however, they are pretty pricey. You will either have to spend endless hours playing, or be ready to open your wallet to spend some real money on this one. There are also upgrades you can get in the store, such as magnets, jetpacks, gems that are worth more. But that’s pretty much it, the store definitely needs more upgrades. Also the fact that the game is pretty challenging, I kind of lost interest on it. The game is free to download, and if you are crazy about endless runner games, then you can’t really lose anything by downloading the game. I personally don’t see myself playing this one for too long.
Agent Dash could have potencial, but it needs work. It feels like the game was rushed, adding way more upgrades, and being able to start from different backgrounds would be nicer. So far Agent Dash is just another endless runner with nothing new to offer. Check it out if you want to play more of the same, but with a little extra frustration.
