Zombie Road Rage, You Can Never Kill Too Many Zombies [iOS Review]

Let’s face it, there are tons of zombie games in the app store, and just when you think you have had enough of zombies, another sweet zombie game comes out. Zombie Road Rage is quite fun, it is just 99 cents, and it works best for the iPhone. As you can see in the  screenshots, you get to drive your vehicle and your goal is to survive as long as you can. You can change the controls in the settings, I like to just slide my finger up and down to move the vehicle, and tap the right side of the screen to shoot. The vehicle never stops, so you will have to watch out for holes, sand, and rocks, cause if you drive ober them, it will damage your vehicle. You will also be able to pick up gas on the road and “health” for your vehicle. You will definitely want to shoot the zombies, there will be different guns that you can pick up once you have unlocked them in the store.

You don’t want to run over the zombies either cause it will damage your vehicle. So there are two ways you can die, if your vehicle gets damaged too much, or if you run out of gas. On the top of the screen, you will be able to see how much gas you have left, and how your vehicle is doing. In the top middle on the screen it shows how far you have driven so far, and in the top right the type of gun you are using. I have been enjoying the game so far, there are 6 different guns you can get, a chainsaw, armor plates, and an electric truck. Zombie Road Rage has tons of potential, it is a brand new game, but I am really hoping the developers update the game frequently cause there could be different backgrounds, more weapons, more vehicles, and even different types of zombies. Also I would love the game to be a universal app. Those are my suggestions for improvement, but the game is definitely fun and challenging, it is easy to pick up and hard to stop playing. Another thing that I liked is that it takes you a little bit of time to earn money, but not too horrible that you just end up giving up. The graphics look decent, I still think they could look more clear, but the gameplay is just so fun.

The game is from the creators of Doodle Army, I know they have updated their other apps, so I would think there will be future updates in the future. I do think it is worth the 99 cents, it is a simple but fun game that keeps you coming back.
