Minigore-2-Zombies

Minigore 2: Zombies has been a pretty decent game, it is one of those that I can see being great for casual gamers. Find out what this new version offers here in our review.

Graphics:

The graphics in the game look pretty good, and the game offers 7 different levels, so the backgrounds change. As you can tell, the characters in the game look more cartoony looking, and overall I am digging the graphics.

Controls/Gameplay:

The controls work well, you will find one joystick on each side of the screen. One is to move your character, and the other one is to aim at the enemies. You can also select in the settings auto aiming if you wish.

You first start with only one level, but as you progress, you will be able to unlock other levels as well. The goal is to stay alive for as long as you can by killing all kinds of enemies and collecting money. There is a good amount of stuff you can unlock in the store, which keeps the game a little more fresh. You can unlock different characters, weapons, upgrade your characters, buy new levels, and use single use power ups.

As you fight enemies, sometimes you will find boxes laying around, if you grab them, you can get different guns and weapons that last a certain period of time. You also have 3 hearts for your health, so once you run out of hearts, then it’s game over. Sometimes you can also find health packets laying around, and they will restore one heart. There are tons of enemies, some are huge, some faster, and it is definitely fun to fight them. Every once in a while you can also get somebody’s help by grabbing another box, and you can even get on fire if you are doing good. Being on fire is nice, cause you can run over enemies and kill them without getting hurt.

Story/Premise:

You must help JOHN GORE fight his way through sunny lakes, graveyards and freezing plains into a stormy forest where the legendary METUSALEM has brought to life murderous chefs, giant lumberjacks, killer penguins, a single moose, three hundred rabbits and the entire undead army of the COSSACK GENERAL.

Replay Value:

The replay value is decent, definitely worth a buck or two. The amount of upgrades in the store make the game more fun to play and appealing. I have spent so far some hours playing and I feel I have got my money’s worth already.

Conclusion:

Minigore 2: Zombies is a decent game, but I don’t think it is a must get. It does feel like a improvement from the first one. So check it out if you were a fan of their first game.
